Noah Purifoy-Junk Dada in Joshua Tree

Southern California is world all of its own. As one of my favorite people says, they tilted the entire country west and shook the kooky ones down here. Kooky can have it charms, and there is an abundance of cool, wild, strange, surreal art down here created with great verve and passion. Noah Purifoy was one of those obsessive creators, and his outdoor repurposed art museum is a testament to just having to make something. I believe he is a genius, and his story is better told in these two videos below. Enjoy my photos, many made even more interesting with my iPhone Image adventure mobile photography experiments. Go visit the next time you are in Joshua Tree.
